JEE Main Application Process 2024

Step 1: Registration Form

  1. Visit the official JEE Main 2024 website.
  2. Register for the Online Application Form.
  3. Note down the system-generated Application Number.
  4. Provide the required details in the Online Application Form.
  5. Create a PASSWORD and choose a Security Question with an answer.
  6. After successful submission of personal details, you will receive an Application number. This number will be used for all future reference and correspondence.
  7. This application number will also be used for both Sessions of JEE (Main) – 2024. For subsequent logins, use the system-generated Application Number and created Password.

Step 2: Application Form

  1. Log in using the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password.
  2. Complete the Application Form, which includes filling up personal details, selecting the Paper, choosing Examination Cities, providing Educational Qualifications details, and uploading images and documents (if required).

Upload Scanned Images

  1. Upload Scanned Images of the Candidate’s:
  • Photograph (recent, in color or black & white, with 80% face visible against a white background).
  • Signature.
  • Category Certificate (if applicable).
  • PwD Certificate (wherever applicable).
  1. Ensure that the scanned photograph and signature are in JPG/JPEG format and clearly legible.
  2. The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb, and the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
  3. The size of the scanned copy of the Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS, etc.) should be in PDF format and between 50 kb to 300 kb.
  4. The size of the scanned copy of the PwD certificate should be in PDF format and between 50 kb to 300 kb.

Step 3: Fee Payment

  1. After completing Step 1 and Step 2, you must pay the required examination fee.
  2. The fee can be paid online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI.
  3. Processing charges and applicable GST are chargeable by the concerned Bank in addition to the examination fee.
  4. The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the candidate.
  5. If the Confirmation Page is not generated after fee payment, the candidate may need to contact the concerned Bank for resolution.
