What is JAC Delhi Counselling 2022: Joint Admission counselling, Delhi conducts the process for the admission of the students in B Tech/B.E./B. Arch. courses in various NCT Delhi engineering institutes based on their JEE Main 2022 score. The engineering institutes are namely Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D) and Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) counselling authority prepares a merit list and the candidates are selected on the basis of the choices they had in made related to the college and course. The seats are allotted by JAC DELHI through an online mode. Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criterias before filling up the counselling Application form.

JAC Delhi Phase II Counselling: The registered candidates who had not been allotted seats in the above mentioned 4 rounds of counselling can participate in the phase II counselling. Candidates have to follow the same steps if they were not prior registered themselves for the counselling in the four rounds of counselling. For Phase II the candidates need to pay a sum of Rs. 10000 as the participation fee (This is not to be paid by the candidates who already registered themselves till the four rounds of counselling)

JAC Delhi Counselling2022 Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility criteria are to be fulfilled by each and every candidate going through the JAC DELHI 2022 counselling process. The candidates can also go through the eligibility criteria provided below in the tabular format:

JAC Delhi Academic Qualification
- Class 12th from CBSE Board (Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi) exam known as Senior School Certificate Examination

- Any other examination equivalent to Senior School Certificate Examination.
Minimum marks criteria at JAC 2022
For B. Tech/ BE Course at NSUT, IGDTUW, and DTU
- Candidates must score of 60% or more in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
- English as a subject must be passed as a part of the study at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level.
- Candidates who have passed JEE Main Paper-1 and he/she should passed all subjects separately.
- No upper age limit is set for the candidates for admission.
For B. Tech at IIIT- D
- Candidates must score of 80% or more as aggregate marks of best five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
- English as a subject must be passed as a part of the study at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level.
- No upper age limit is set for the candidates for admission.
For B. Arch Course at IGDTUW
- Candidates must score of 50% or more as aggregate marks of best five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or have passed 10 + 3 system of schooling in diploma with mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- Candidates must have qualified JEE Main Paper 2 for B. Arch. Course.
- No upper age limit is set for the candidates for admission.

JAC Delhi B. Tech Counselling Process 2022
JAC DELHI conducts the counselling process for the candidates who had cleared their JEE Mains entrance exam. There is an Application fee that is to be paid by the candidates willing to participate in the counselling process. The counselling process has certain steps that are to be followed at the time of going through the counselling session which includes registering on the official website, uploading the necessary document, paying the counselling fee.
JAC Delhi Counselling registration
Registration is one of the first and necessary steps for starting the counselling process herein there are few steps that needed to be taken into consideration and follow it sincerely as by passing the registration step would make the candidate ineligible for the counselling process. The candidates need to fill in the application form with the JEE Mains 2022 application number and their Date of birth, email address, mobile number, rank, category, etc. and submit.. The candidates have to fill in the academic details personal details as well as contact details.
Payment of counselling Fee
After registration the candidate have to pay the counselling fee via online mode. The candidates have to pay the counselling fee in order to be eligible for the counselling rounds. The counselling fee is non refundable. The candidates are advised to take the print out of the confirmation page for future reference.

JAC DELHI Merit List
The merit list is most likely to be released after a month of the examination which is prepared by JAC DELHI . The merit list is on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in JEE Main exam. The candidates whose names are there in the merit list are eligible for filling in their choices and lock their choices within the timeline given by the authorities.
Choice filling and Locking
After the issue of merit list the selected candidates can start filling the choices. In filling the choices candidates are advised to choose the maximum number of choices so that the probability of getting an admission would be higher. There must be an order of preferences made by the candidate. The choice filling option is for a stipulated period of time after than no editing is allowed on the choice filling counterpart. The candidate must lock their choices within the given time framework.
Temporary Seat Allotment
The counselling authorities will publish the mock seat allotment on temporary basis of choices locked by the candidates and JAC DELHI merit list. Candidates can check their JAC DELHI seat allotment result on the official website. Candidates will get their seat allotment result on their email and registered number.
Seat Allotment
There are many factors that are counted at the time of allotment of seat; the factors are merit of the candidate, availability of seats, preference selected by the candidate. There are 6 rounds of counselling for JEE through which a candidate will be allotted seats. There is one more round known as spot counselling round under which after the sliding phase any seats remain vacant, the authorities will conduct a spot counselling round which is offline. The candidates who have been allotted seats have to download the seat allotment letter for the admission in the institute. There are few options available for the candidates for completing the seat allotment process i.e.
- If a candidate is satisfied with allotment he can pay the partial academic fee
- If the candidate is not satisfied he can do any one of three options mentioned below.
- Freeze the allotted seat.
- Withdrawal from the seat and take the refund.
- After the last round slide the allotted seat.
JAC DELHI 2022 Admission Process
Candidates seeking admission in engineering institutes have to give JEE Mains on the basis of which the cut off of different colleges are made. The name of the candidates who clear the cut off marks prescribed by JAC DELHI will be included in the merit list. Only those candidates whose names are there in the merit list are eligible for the admission process.
Preparation of Merit list by JAC Delhi
As per the scores in the entrance test and the marks obtained by the candidates in their class 12th PCM group exams are considered and the merit list is prepared on the basis of it. With the aggregation of marks obtained the candidates are allotted the ranks on the basis of which they can have the idea of his or her position in the merit list. The candidates can make the choices of the colleges and courses as when mentioned by the authority in the B. Tech courses. The candidates can go through the previous year cut off in order to analyse their position of getting the desired college with desired course. The whole system is online and the candidates will get a chance to take part in the counselling process as per the merit list and the options made by the candidates in terms of colleges and streams opted by them.
Payment of Admission fee to the JAC Delhi
The candidates who have been allotted with the seat in the temporary seat allotment process must visit the nodal office for reporting and verification of the documents as well as for the payment of the fees. Candidates need to pay a sum of Rs. 1, 12, 000 in the name of academic fee for the confirmation of the seat and this amount is to be paid by challan, DD, or via online mode with receipt.

After the allotment of seats candidates have to report to the allotted college for document verification. It is advised to the candidates to carry their original and photocopy of the documents mentioned below:
