The registration process for JEE Advanced 2024 is set to kick off from April 21, marking a significant milestone for aspirants aiming for excellence in engineering education. Candidates who secure a position within the top 2.5 lakh ranks in JEE Main (as per last year’s criteria) are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced. As the JEE Main examination is currently underway, it’s imperative for prospective candidates to check their eligibility before considering participation in the upcoming JEE Advanced.
IIT Madras is the organizing institute for JEE Advanced 2024, and the official website states that the registration process will commence on April 21 and continue until April 30. The examination is scheduled for May 26, featuring Paper-1 and Paper-2. Each paper allows candidates a time frame of 3 hours for completion. To qualify for the examination, candidates must attempt both papers.
Eligibility for JEE Advanced 2024 is reserved for those candidates who secure a position within the top 2.5 lakh ranks in JEE Main and are born on or after October 1, 1999. Additionally, candidates should have appeared for the 12th-grade examination in 2023 or 2024, passing with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their core subjects.
The registration window will be open from April 21 at 10 AM to April 30 at 5 PM, while the deadline for fee submission is May 6, 5 PM. The admit cards for JEE Advanced 2024 will be available for download from May 17, and candidates can access them until 2:30 PM on May 26.
In the previous year’s question paper, both Paper-1 and Paper-2 collectively featured questions amounting to a total of 180 marks. Each paper consisted of four sections, including Multiple Correct Choice Questions (MCCQs), Single Correct Choice Questions (SCQs), Integer Type Questions, Matrix Match Questions, and Paragraph-Based Questions. Aspirants are encouraged to thoroughly prepare for this challenging examination, and the JEE Advanced 2024 promises to be a crucial stepping stone for those aiming to pursue engineering at the prestigious IITs.
