Bihar’s Small Towns Witness Job Opportunities: In a noteworthy achievement, Ganpati Kumar, a student of Supaul Engineering College in Bihar, secured a lucrative placement during campus recruitment. Ganpati, a final-year student of Mechanical Engineering, received a placement offer from Renex Technology with a generous package of 5.20 lakhs.
Hailing from the town of Behata in Darbhanga district, Ganpati’s father, Mahadev Thakur, works as a carpenter, while his mother, Poonam Devi, is a homemaker. Despite belonging to a modest family, Ganpati’s academic journey from a diploma to pursuing Mechanical Engineering at Supaul Engineering College has culminated in a promising placement opportunity.
Renex Technology, during an on-spot campus placement, offered Ganpati the role of an Inside Sales Strategist with a salary package of 5.20 lakhs. Additionally, the company has committed to revisiting his package, potentially exceeding 6 lakhs, based on performance feedback after six months.
Ganpati expressed his happiness over the campus placement, emphasizing the positive impact it would have on his family’s financial situation. He stated that while many dream of studying in renowned colleges in big cities, achieving such opportunities in smaller towns is equally fulfilling. Supaul Engineering College, where most students come from ordinary families, has been instrumental in providing such career prospects.
The Principal of the engineering college, Achyutanand Mishra, congratulated the selected students and appreciated the efforts of the Training and Placement Cell. He highlighted the consistent focus on academic excellence, skill development, and various extracurricular activities to ensure students are well-prepared for better job opportunities.
TPC Head Kamal Raj Praveen emphasized the college’s commitment to skill enhancement, preparing students for placements.
