Moreover, AICTE has specified additional eligibility criteria for institutions seeking approval. These include operating in Aspirational Districts, as per the latest list notified by NITI Aayog, or being located in Jammu, Kashmir, Leh/Ladakh, and the Northeastern Region (NER) States.

Courses & Intake

  • Number of Permitted Courses: Maximum three courses per institute/level.
  • Permitted Intake per Course: 15/30 (PG-level course) and 30/60 (Diploma/UG level course).

Eligibility for Admission

  • Professionals working in Registered Industries/Organizations (Central/State), Private/Public Limited Companies, MSMEs located within a 50 KM radial distance from the institute.
  • Minimum of one year full-time/regular working experience.
  • Qualification same as candidates eligible for Lateral Entry to the second year, as specified in the Approval Process Handbook published by AICTE from time to time.
