Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.)
The B. Tech course is a 4 year long programme which is a semester based where students have to gain theoretical and practical knowledge. Effective communication and soft skills classes are incorporated in the curriculum to ensure that the graduates are highly competent of working in terms of various expertise profiles. The program promotes cutting edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Mechatronics, Machine Learning etc. The B. Tech. is a course that can be selected by a student who desires to be engineer and have 12th with Science Background (PCM). The students, who have cleared the Senior Secondary (12th Class) examination can apply for the B. Tech degree course.

Eligibility
- Candidates must have completed their 12th standard CBSE pattern or with minimum 45% aggregate marks for general category and 40% marks for reserved category (SC/ST/PwD).
- The subjects must have subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English (core/elective/functional).
Admission Process
Admission is strictly made on the basis of merit list prepared by the counselling authority i.e. IPU – CET. All applicants are required to appear in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The University shall not conduct
its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of JEE Main Paper 1 for its admissions. The admissions would be based on the merit / rank in the JEE. The admissions are granted on the basis of the merit list prepared by the authorities. The candidates have to meet up the minimum cut off to get admission. The candidates are selected on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in JEE Main or IPU CET for lateral entry for this the candidates have to choose MAIT is their desired college. Finally the admission are granted after the admission process is completed which involves steps like application, seat allotment, verification of documents.
Note: Blind (including colour blind), deaf and/or dumb candidates shall not be eligible for admission in these courses.
How to apply for Course at MAIT
Candidates willing to opt for B. Tech. course must visit the official website of GGSIPU. For getting admission candidates must follow the given steps i.e.:
- Fill the online registration form which consists of sign up by entering the basic details of the candidates like name, father’s name, mobile number, etc and pay the mentioned fees.
- Fees that is to be deposited only via Bank Challan.
- If Candidates are under some reserved (sports, defence, SC/ST, PH, KP, EWS, etc) category must present the relevant documents.
MAIT Direct admission through Management Quota: The candidates can reserve their seats under management quota and get direct admission in MAIT. The college fix the total number of seats reserved for management quota and the counselling for these seats would be done after filling up
