The NTA has revealed the syllabus, test format, and qualifying criteria for JEE Main 2024. JEE Main 2024 will be held online as a Computer Based Test in 501 cities across India and 25 cities outside India. Paper 1 for BE/BTech, Paper 2A for BArch, and Paper 2B for BPlan will be held as part of the NTA JEE Main 2024 test.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria
JEE Main 2024 eligibility requirements, as well as the official booklet, have been released by the authorities. Age Limit: There is no age limit for taking the JEE Main exam.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have completed or be anticipated to complete class 12 in 2021/2022 or 2023 from any recognised board. Candidates who have passed a class 12 equivalent exam are also able to apply.
Compulsory Subjects in Qualifying Exam:

Number of Attempts: From the year of passing class 12, candidates can take the exam three times in a row.
Minimum Percentage in Class 12:
For admission, students must get a minimum score of 75% on the 12th grade exam. For BArch admissions, a minimum of 50% is required.
Because of COVID-19, the minimum 75% mark requirement has been lowered for the past two years. Candidates with a class 12 or equivalent qualification were eligible.
JEE Main 2024 Application Form
National Testing Agency (NTA) has ended JEE Main registration for the 2024 session 1 exam. The application form for JEE Main 2024 was accessible until April 5. Filling out the JEE Main application form is done online.
NTA has made the JEE Main 2024 application form available on its website. Before filling out the JEE Main 2024 application form, candidates must ensure that they meet the qualifying requirements.
Candidates must attach scanned photographs of their photos, signatures, educational certificates, and papers pertaining to reservation privileges while filling the JEE Main 2024 registration form. How to fill out JEE Main 2024 Application Form?
Step 1: Register to the official website i.e. https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/.
Step 2: Go to the “JEE Main 2024 Registration” page.
Step 3: Fill in the relevant information and click the “Submit” button to finish the registration.
After completing the JEE Main registration process, candidates will receive an email and a text message to their registered email address and mobile phone number with the application form number and password. Candidates must keep their registration information safe/save it.
Step 4- After completing the registration process, candidates will be redirected to the page where they may complete the thorough application form. Candidates must supply information about their educational qualifications, parents’ information, communication and permanent addresses, and exam centre preferences in this step.
Step 5: Attach scanned photos of passport-sized photographs and your signature.
Step 6: Pay the application fee.
JEE Main 2024 application fee can be paid for more than one session. Candidates can pay the NTA JEE Main test fees online only using a Debit Card/ Credit Card, Net Banking/UPI.

JEE Main 2024 Admit Card
JEE Main 2024 Admit cards will be available on the official website. NTA will release the JEE Main admit card for the first attempt exam in the second week of June. To download their admission card, candidates must check in with their application form number and password.The NTA will only provide JEE Main admit cards 2024 to applicants who complete the application form by the deadline. The admit card is required for taking the exam; without it, no candidate will be allowed to take the test.
The admit card will include information on the JEE Main exam day and time, the address of the exam centre, basic candidate information such as name, photo, signature, and the paper for which you will be appearing. Candidates must print their JEE Main 2024 admit card once downloading it.

JEE Main 2024 Exam Centers
The NTA has revealed the venue of the JEE Main 2024 examinations. Candidates will get a list of exam cities for filling out the form based on the address provided during registration.
When filling out the JEE Main application form, candidates must select four of their desired exam centres. Candidates will be assigned one of the four exam centres from which they must take the exam.The exam center/city will be listed on the JEE Main 2024 admit card.
Please keep in mind that the NTA’s decision on the allocation of centre, date, and shift is final. In such a circumstance, no correspondence or requests will be considered.
JEE Main Counseling 2024
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) organizes the admissions process for IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. Candidates who take JEE Main 2024 and receive a score must register for JoSAA counseling to be considered for admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
Candidates who take JEE Advanced must also register for JoSAA 2024 counseling to be considered for admission to IIITs.
The registration process is completed online, and seat allocation is based on the candidates’ All India Rank.

JEE Main 2024 Answer Key
JEE Main 2024 answer key for Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be available on the NTA website. Applicants can get the JEE Main answer key 2024 by entering their application number and date of birth/password. The NTA JEE Main answer key provided the right solutions to the exam questions.
The NTA will initially publish the preliminary JEE Main answer key, which will be accessible to challenges. Candidates who have issues to any of the answers in the provisional JEE Main answer key can file a challenge online at the official website. The NTA will go over the challenges before releasing the final answer key. The JEE Main final answer key is unassailable and final in every way.
Candidates will also be able to contest the tentative JEE Main answer key, according to the authorities.

JEE Main Cutoff
Along with the publication of session 2 results, the NTA will announce the JEE Main 2024 cutoff. The JEE Main cutoff is the minimum percentile score that students must get in order to be eligible to take the JEE Advanced. The cutoff for JEE Main will fluctuate depending on the category.
Candidates should be aware that there are no minimum marks or cutoffs required to pass the JEE Main test. The All India Rank is determined by the score that students receive in JEE Main, and admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs is solely based on the All India Rank. Although NTA JEE Main serves as a screening test for JEE Advanced, NTA publishes the qualifying cutoff for appearing in JEE Advanced alongside the result.
