Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology Muktsar was founded under the supervision of a Board of Governors led by the Honorable Technical Education Minister of the Government of Punjab. This college was established in 1998 and the college is affiliated with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University Jalandhar and also has recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The campus, encompasses 25 acres and has an outstanding three-story academic and administrative building designed by Punjab’s Chief Architect, is located in the Green Field Enclave of Malout, Punjab. MIMIT is the first government institute in Punjab that offers both MBA and B.Tech programs.
