This year, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) branches has introduced several new UG & PG courses across the country. IIT-Madras BSc in Programming and Data Science and M. Tech in Electric Transportation from IIT-Mandi Students at IIT-Delhi can choose from a variety of courses for their M. Tech in Electric Mobility and MS(R) in Transportation Safety and Injury Prevention. The courses were introduced with the intention of meeting the nation’s current industrial and social needs.

IIT-Patna launch six new programmes; JEE score not required
Six distinct academic programmes that do not require a JEE score are being introduced by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna.
Candidates who are interested in these programmes can apply.
The new launched programmes are B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science and Data Analytics (CSDA), B.Sc. (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity (AICS), B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics and Computer Science (MCS), B.Sc. (Hons) in Accounting and Financial Management (AFM), B.Sc. (Hons) in Business Management and Analytics (BMA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
IIT-Madras Offered Online Contents/ Exams in-person
BSc in Programming and Data Science/BS in Data Science and Applications
A four-year BS Degree in Data Science and Applications will now be an option for students enrolled in IIT Madras’ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Programming and Data Science. IIT Madras said, students can complete an 8-month internship or a project with businesses or research institutions as part of the BSc level. This programme is made to provide students with a variety of entry and exit points where they can earn a certificate, diploma, or degree.
No Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) appearance is necessary for admission to this programme. Students who are enrolled in Class 12 may submit an application and be accepted into the programme.
IIT-Jodhpur fundamental science and latest technologies in the broad field of physics
BS in Physics with Specialisation Programme
In order to draw highly motivated students interested in fundamental science and latest technologies in the broad field of physics blended with engineering, the Department of Physics is now offering an undergraduate programme in Physics.
This programme is flexible enough to consider a variety of challenging career paths through capability-linked specializations. Strong foundations in the fundamental sciences and mathematics will be provided, which are essential for the development of analytical thinking.
Eligibility – Class 12 in the Science stream, and Selected – Based on their JEE Advanced score.
IIT-Mandi Electric Specialist/ Gate Exam/ Job Opportunities
M. Tech in Electric Transportation (E-Transportation)
This year, IIT-Mandi launched a two-year master’s programme in electric transportation. The School of Computing and Electrical Engineering (SCEE) and the School of Engineering (SE) at IIT Mandi have jointly launched this programme, which focuses on the need for skilled workers in the electric vehicle industry and job opportunities for young people.
A valid GATE score is required to enrol in this course. Candidates must hold a valid Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology from an accredited university, with a minimum first-class grade or 60% overall (or an equivalent CGPA) in all four years.
