Gujarat ACPC B. Tech Counselling 2022

GUJARAT ACPC (The Admission Committee for Professional Courses) is the authorised body that will conduct counselling for B. Tech admission in Gujarat. The counselling is likely to be started from the month of June. The admission in B. Tech courses will be done on the basis of JEE Mains score of 2022 and special GUJARAT CET qualifying candidates. The candidates who have registered themselves on the official website of GUJARAT ACPC are only eligible for the counselling rounds.

What is Gujarat ACPC  B. Tech Counselling  2022: The Admission Committee for Professional Courses conducts the process for the admission of the students in B Tech courses in various Gujarat engineering institutes based on their JEE Main 2022 scores. A merit list is prepared by the counselling authority and the candidates are selected on the basis of the choices they had in made related to the college and course. Gujarat ACPC B. Tech Counselling 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility criteria are to be fulfilled by each and every candidate going through the GUJARAT ACPC 2022 counselling process. The candidates can also go through the eligibility criteria provided below in the tabular format:

Ager Criteria	Candidates of any age can apply for the exam however the minimum age limit is decided to be 17 years of age
Qualifying exam	Candidate must have passed or appeared in the final year of their 10+2 (class 12) exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Should have appeared and qualified JEE Main Paper I

Gujarat ACPC B. Tech Counselling  Process 2022 

GUJARAT ACPC conducts the counselling process for the candidates who had cleared their JEE Mains entrance exam or GUJCET 2022. There is an Application fee of that is different for different category that is to be paid by the candidates willing to participate in the counselling process. The counselling process has certain steps that are to be followed at the time of going through the counselling session which includes registering on the official website, uploading the necessary document, paying the counselling fee. 

Gujarat ACPC B. Tech Counselling registration

Registration is one of the first and necessary steps for starting the counselling process herein there are few steps that needed to be taken into consideration and follow it sincerely as by passing the registration step would make the candidate ineligible for the counselling process. The candidates need to fill in the application form with the JEE Mains 2022 application number and their Date of birth. The candidates have to fill in the academic details personal details as well as contact details. 

Payment of counselling Fee

After registration the candidate have to pay the counselling fee via online mode. The candidates have to pay the counselling fee in order to be eligible for the counselling rounds. The counselling fee is non refundable. The candidates are advised to take the print out of the confirmation page for future reference.

GUJARAT ACPC Merit List

The merit list is most likely to be released after a month of the examination which is prepared by GUJARAT ACPC. The merit list is on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in JEE Main exam and GUJCET. The candidates whose names are there in the merit list are eligible for filling in their choices and lock their choices within the timeline given by the authorities. 

Choice filling and Locking

After the issue of merit list the selected candidates can start filling the choices. In filling the choices candidates are advised to choose the maximum number of choices so that the probability of getting an admission would be higher. There must be an order of preferences made by the candidate. The choice filling option is for a stipulated period of time after than no editing is allowed on the choice filling counterpart. The candidate must lock their choices within the given time framework.

Temporary Seat Allotment

The counselling authorities will publish the mock seat allotment on temporary basis of choices locked by the candidates and GUJARAT ACPC merit list. Candidates can check their GUJARAT ACPC seat allotment result on the official website. Candidates will get their seat allotment result on their email and registered number.

Seat Allotment

There are many factors that are counted at the time of allotment of seat, the factors are merit of the candidate, availability of seats, preference selected by the candidate. There are 2 rounds of counselling through which a candidate will be allotted seats. The candidates who have been allotted seats have to download the seat allotment letter for the admission in the institute. 

GUJARAT ACPC 2022 Admission Process

Candidates seeking admission in engineering institutes have to give JEE Mains on the basis of which the cut off of different colleges are made. The name of the candidates who clear the cut off marks prescribed by GUJARAT ACPC will be included in the merit list. Only those candidates whose names are there in the merit list are eligible for the admission process.

Preparation of Merit list by GUJARAT ACPC Board:

As per the scores in the entrance test and the marks obtained by the candidates in their class 12^th PCM group exams are considered and the merit list is prepared on the basis of it. With the aggregation of marks obtained the candidates are allotted the ranks on the basis of which they can have the idea of his or her position in the merit list. The candidates can make the choices of the colleges and courses as when mentioned by the authority in the B. Tech courses. The candidates can go through the previous year cut off in order to analyse their position of getting the desired college with desired course. The whole system is online and the candidates will get a chance to take part in the counselling process as per the merit list and the options made by the candidates in terms of colleges and streams opted by them. 

Payment of Admission fee to the ACPC:

The candidates who have been allotted with the seat in the temporary seat allotment process must visit the nodal office for reporting and verification of the documents as well as for the payment of the fees. Candidates need to pay Rs. 20, 000 for the confirmation of the seat and this amount is to paid by challan, DD, or via online mode with receipt.

Gujarat ACPC B. Tech Counselling Document Verification

After the allotment of seats candidates have to report to the allotted college for document verification. It is advised to the candidates to carry their original and photocopy of the documents mentioned below:

• Four copies of the Provisional seat allotment letter

• Mark sheet/Passing Certificate of class XII

A student can be provided with scholarship if meritorious and also there are also educational loans which are provided by the institutes which a student can avail and pay later in easy instalments.
